Our services

God has a plan for your life, and central to His plan is the local church. Here is what to expect in our services

Praise and worship

Music and singing are Biblical aspects to a worship service. “Praise Him with the sound of trumpet (and other instruments) - see Ps 150.3-5.

Praise:  “Shout for joy, you righteous...” (Psalms 32.11); “Clap your hands... shout to God with a voice of triumph...” (Psalms 47.1).

Prayer: “...they raised their voice to God...” Acts 4.24. Praying together was a hallmark of the early church

Presenting: Giving is voluntary but is an act of worship to God. “Honour the Lord with your possessions, and the first fruits of all your increase.” (Proverbs 3.9)

Preaching and teaching

The message: Biblical, God-centred preaching is the centrepiece of our church service.

The Bible message is timeless and relevant to our lives. Sermons  provide practical help and a godly perspective on real life situations - from marriage and relationships to work life to living victoriously.

“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out... convince, rebuke, exhort...” (2 Tim 4.2)

Adult Bible Hour and Children's Sunday School: Every Sunday at 9.30am we have an Adult Bible Hour for people seeking richer knowledge of God's word. We also feature Children's Sunday School.

Evangelism and discipleship

Evangelism: Our church uses concerts, films and special meetings with guest speakers, all designed to reach our community with the good news of Jesus Christ.

"Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16.15)

Discipleship: Jesus gave His followers "on the job" training - everything from effective prayer to service. Those same followers went on to impact the world.

We provide the same type of practical discipleship training to help people realise their potential in Christ.
